POSITION ONE SCHOOL OF DANCE
***REGISTRATION AGREEMENT***
- A non-refundable fee of $15.00
is required to register each student (new and former) and to
reserve his/her space in class.
This fee will only be applied to September’s tuition.
- Enrollment is based on a
season’s study, culminating with the annual performance in June. Placement is at the discretion of the
Director. Advancement is not by
class, but by individual evaluation of the student; according to level of
ability and age.
- Tuition is due monthly and must
be paid on the first class of each month.
Payments over 30 days will result in suspension from class until
the up-to-date payment has been made.
Tuition is a set monthly fee regardless of a 3, 4 or 5 week
month. Missed lessons due to
vacations or personal commitments are not deducted from your monthly
tuition. Tuition is
non-refundable!!! Payments over
30 days will pay an additional $10.00 late fee. DISCOUNT POLICY: Tuition received in the school office by
the 10th of each month will receive a $5.00 discount. Pre-dated checks will not receive
discount if submitted after the 10th of each month. Tuition paid for the year (in advance)
will receive the $5.00 discount off for each month. No other discounts apply.
- Attendance: It is important that the student attend
every lesson. Students should be
on-time for their class(es).
Notice of illness or absence must be given prior to the class
session.
- Formal notification (in writing) is
required if a student is withdrawing from his/her dance program. You are liable for all tuition
payments until we receive notification – otherwise, it is assumed you are
still holding your class space.
- DRESS CODE: First-step students (2 ½ - 4): pink/black leotard, ballet pink tights,
pink leather slippers. All other
students: any color leotard, pink/tan
tights, appropriate shoes for each subject. Male students: black dance pants, white T, appropriate
shoes for each subject.
Hair: Girls MUST wear hair secured in bun or back
and off the face. No jewelry, t-shirts,
sweats, baggy clothes or any non-dance attire. No gum allowed in class at any time.
- Annual Concert: An annual dance performance is held
each June. Students must attend
June classes and all rehearsals to be able to perform.
- Costumes are ordered in December for the annual
performance in June. A $50.00 or
$100.00 deposit is due in November (depending on class), with your balance
due before January 15th.
COSTUMES WILL NOT BE ORDERED WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. When a deposit is paid, this authorizes
the school to order the costume(s) and you will be liable for the costume
balance.
Position One School of Dance or Staff
will not be responsible for lost articles or for any injuries or damages incurred
on the premises either before, during or after classes or during special events
held at the school.
I have read and understand this
agreement and agree to let my daughter/son/self
participate in the program.
